Friday's Famous Face is an original art project by Ronnie which features famous people or characters and what they might be doing during the covid19 pandemic.

Each artwork has been illustrated digitally by hand on a PC using a graphics tablet. I imagined realistic situations for the people / characters and portrayed them how I think they might have behaved at this time. I sometimes created a parody of existing images to achieve this.
There were lots of fab suggestions for that week's face (the theme was artists). I chose this photographer / graphic designer because of his amazing body of work.
Sadly Storm is no longer with us. But his work, or his legacy, still remains. Many of the greatest musicians on the planet had their artwork designed by him and many of us have a bunch of his work among our music collections.
Normally I add a bit of humour to the portraits in Friday's Famous Face. However, I wanted that week's art to be more serious. So many of us have missed our closest friends and family since the covid 19 pandemic started and technology has been a godsend. It means we are able to video call those dearest to us. I imagined Storm doing just that on a phone and being overwhelmed with emotion as he chats with those closest to him.
