How we are entertained by others or how we keep ourselves entertained are recurring themes in Ronnie's work and women are generally underrepresented in the media. Ronnie intentionally highlights this by making art of women more than men.

This painting is the eleventh piece from my ongoing series The Entertainers. I took inspiration from a series of photographs and videos but settled mainly on her styling from the video for the song Only Love Can Hurt Like This.
