Friday's Rugby Face is about celebrating some important players, big characters or inspirations from men's rugby union. Partly influenced by Pop Surrealism, I usually tie something into the narrative that has been inspired by video games.
The artwork was made by using a combination of long exposure (light painting) photography and digital art techniques. This is the ninth piece from the project and features Scottish rugby player - scrum half - George Horne.

George beat the likes of TJ Perenara and Faf De Klerk in the votes that week, though it was quite close and all were amazing suggestions.
One of my suggestions for George came with a game suggestion too. Sonic The Hedgehog, because George gets everywhere on the pitch and is quick. I agree, so I gave George a kind of blue skin tone, some speedy Sonic style shoes and a couple of rings to collect.
