A black and white digital photograph by Ronnie McInnes, Aberlady Bridge B&W © 2012
I usually like to find order in nature using shapes and patterns in my compositions. I use this as metaphor for how I need to keep myself and my thoughts (in particular) organised. Observe the patterns and shapes here, not produced by nature this time, but by the man-made bridge. Each slat is like a thought or memory being organised in a methodical way. I process information and learn things fairly quickly using such an approach to thoughts. This was shot at Aberlady Nature Reserve in East Lothian.
