A black and white digital photograph by Ronnie McInnes, Path Through Trees - B&W © 2018
I like to find order in nature using shapes and patterns in my compositions. I use this as metaphor for how I need to keep myself and my thoughts (in particular) organised. Observe the line of trees. They are well organised and seem to be fairly equidistant, suggesting that they have been planted by people. Like the trees, people can plant seeds in minds too and can have a strong influence over our thoughts. We might walk the path and feel the influence of the trees, but we can leave them behind. Shot at Almondell Country Park near East Calder.
