I like to find order in nature using shapes and patterns in my compositions. I use this as metaphor for how I need to keep myself and my thoughts (in particular) organised. If you look carefully, you will find three large, very similar shapes form a pattern. Look at the shape of the tree lines either side of the river and the dark band in the middle. This was shot looking East from Almondell Viaduct at Almondell Country Park near East Calder.
