This is a metaphor for brain fog, periods where seeing clearly or organising thoughts carefully becomes almost impossible. I have captured movement in the water and foliage using a slow shutter speed in my camera settings. Combined with the foggy weather, this creates more softness in the image overall. The resulting photograph has an unreal, dream-like quality to it as a result. This was shot from the south bank of the River Almond at Almondell Country Park near East Calder.
